I want to create a backup folder for Quicken Classic Deluxe on my Mac called Quicken Mac Backups and redirect automatic backups to that folder as well as periodically sending manual backups there. How do i accomplish that
I'm going to assume you know how to create the folder in the location you want it to reside. If not, see this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPVOaFmQ7_s
After creating the folder, in Quicken, click menu Quicken > Settings⦠Next, click the Backup tab on the top row. In the Backup pane of Settings, click the "Backup Folderā¦" button. In the resulting file system window, navigate to and select the backup folder you created. That's it.
If you want to keep your existing backups, create the folder you want to use for your backups in the future then go to the File menu in Quicken and select "Show Backups in Finder". Exit Quicken and then drag all the backups to the new folder, then restart Quicken & follow @RickO's instructions for changing the backup folder.
