Haven't gotten any updates since 6/7/2026
Hi @Wildstang, Thanks for reaching out to the Quicken Community!
To better understand the issue, I'd like to ask a few questions so I can determine the best troubleshooting steps:
I look forward to your reply!
No error codes are coming up.
I have tried numerous times to do this process…."To check, open the account, then go to Settings > Downloads, and let me know what connection method is listed there." and it continues to not link the account. It goes back to "connect account". No error codes are coming up.
Hi @Wildstang,
Thanks for your reply and for trying the troubleshooting steps above.
Based on your description, it appears that the account may no longer be connected to the financial institution, which can cause transactions to stop downloading without generating an error.
I recommend following the steps in our Support Article to reactivate the account and make sure it is linked to the correct existing Quicken account.
To reactivate the account:
I hope this helps. Let us know how it goes!
I did all of that and it still doesn't work or save the set up once I go through that all. I go through all the steps and select everything…save it and when I click on the process again to see if it saved it is all blank again and have to do the process all over again .
Hi @Wildstang, Thank you for your reply! After reviewing my internal tools, I can see that some accounts connected with Meritrust are showing a Status:OK.
If possible, please include a screenshot of what you see after clicking Continue. That will help us better understand where the process is failing.
Looking forward to your reply!
[Removed - Duplicate Post]
I click continue and it shows it is trying to connect all my savings and checking accounts …says updating…then that finishes and shows all my accounts it should have connected…then I click finish…then I click on settings again and it shows connect account if you would like to download transactions…it shows no connection was ever made.
There are no duplicate accounts in the list.
It appears to be successful when linking up the accounts, but in the end it is not.
Hi @Wildstang, Thank you for your reply and for providing more details.
If you haven't done so already, I recommend restoring a backup file from the last time your accounts updated and worked properly.
To restore a backup:
Once the backup has been restored, run a One Step Update to see if your transactions download successfully.
If the issue persists, I recommend testing the connection in a new test file to see if the issue is specific to your current data file.
To create a test file:
Please let me know how it goes. I look forward to your reply!
