Product: Quicken Classic for Windows (Version: R68.28, Build: 27.1.68.28)
Connection method: Express Web Connect+ (EWC+)
Account type: Brokerage/Investment account (HOA reserve fund held in Fidelity money market fund, core position FDRXX)
Description:
A Fidelity account in one of my Quicken data files has not downloaded any transactions since May 2026, though it has continued to update security/cash prices correctly. No error message is shown — One Step Update / Update Now report "completed" successfully.
Relevant context:
- I maintain two separate Quicken Windows data files: one personal, one for a homeowners association (HOA) I administer. Both connect to Fidelity using the same Fidelity login, since the HOA's Fidelity account is held under my SSN alongside two personal 401(k) accounts.
- The personal data file downloads Fidelity transactions correctly. Only the HOA data file's Fidelity account (the money market/reserve fund) has stopped downloading transactions.
- I also run Quicken for Mac in parallel (testing it as a possible replacement) with the same personal/HOA file split, connected to the same Fidelity login. Both Mac files download transactions correctly.
Troubleshooting already completed:
- Confirmed connection method is Express Web Connect+.
- Deactivated the HOA Fidelity account in Quicken Windows (Account List > Edit > Online Services > Deactivate).
- Reactivated via Tools > Add Account > Fidelity, signed in, and selected "Link to existing account" for the HOA account only.
- Completed the Automatic Transaction Entry prompt (set to manual review, not auto-add) and the Cash Representation prompt (selected "Convert this fund into my cash balance") for the FDRXX core position.
- Ran One Step Update after reconnecting — update reports success, price updates, but zero new transactions downloaded.
- Checked Account List > Last Download column: timestamp updates with each attempt (most recent: today), confirming Quicken is successfully connecting to Fidelity's servers.
- Checked the account register's Downloaded Transactions queue: empty, confirming transactions are not merely awaiting review.
- Checked for hidden/duplicate Fidelity accounts in Account List (Show hidden accounts): none found.
Request:
Since the connection is authenticating successfully and prices update normally, but transaction data is not being returned for this specific account, I'd like help determining whether this is a known backend issue between Quicken and Fidelity for this account/connection, or something that requires account-specific investigation. I have not yet revoked Quicken's third-party access on Fidelity's site, since doing so would affect three other linked Quicken data files (personal Windows file, and both Mac files) that are currently working correctly — happy to try this if support advises it's the right next step.
