Transaction downloads fail from Fifth Third Bank

Anyone else having a problem downloading transactions from Fifth Third Bank? Started Saturday, July 11, downloaded QFX file from the bank and tried to import. Quicken displayed a dialog box saying " Unable to complete request OL-221-A" . Import function works fine with other bank website( Capital One) No error messages from Fifth Third.

Using Windows 11, Quicken R68.28 build 27.1.68.28

If you haven't done so already, I recommend following the steps outlined in our Support Article for troubleshooting Web Connect (QFX). The OL-221 error may be caused by incorrect date and time settings on your computer.

To adjust these settings in Windows:

Click the Start button, then open Control Panel. (In Windows 10, the Control Panel is located in the Windows System folder in the Start menu.)
Click Clock, Language, and Region, then select Date and Time.
Click Change date and time and make sure your computer is set to the correct date and time.

If you continue to receive the error after verifying your date and time settings, the issue may be with the QFX file itself. In that case, you'll need to contact your financial institution for further assistance.

I am having the same problem! When I look at the log files in quicken, it says "20260713 16:28:48: Not all required fields present. Object: CCSTMTRS missing tag: LEDGERBAL"

When I contacted the bank, they said that some of their systems were updated. I suspect that they inadvertently messed up the formatting for their qfx files?

Would love a solution for this!!!

same here…. they dropped the direct connect method on two credit cards and .qfx doesn't work either… only the QIF method which is a royal pain. I found the credit cards under the fifth third investment and Trust partner but as brokerage accounts… 5/3 and Quicken need to get this fixed….

Same issue here as David - OL-221 when trying to import bank data from Fifth third (QXF file). This was after I ran an update yesterday to quicken. I called Quicken and was told it should resolve itself in 24 hours. Nope - still have the same error, even tried a new file. My date and time are correct. I have reported it as suggested by Carlos.

I am having the same issue with the QL-221 code, my date and time on the computer are correct as Carlos suggested. I have sent several report a problem to Quicken but have not heard back yet. Who is at fault for this error, Fifth Third or Quicken. We need a fix for this error.

After working with Carlos on the 20th of July, we were able to connect with Fifth Third, however, not all transactions updated on the 21st of July. I will be calling Quicken again today.

I'm experiencing a similar issue with 53 Bank. I've not been able to download the MC transactions nor have I been able to import a QFX file. The error is Quicken is unable to complete your request. [OL-221-A] and [OL-221-B]. This has been going for for several months.
