The newer Quicken does nolonger run nor open to be used on a totally off network as av accounting tool. Quicken support said that it needed to be run in the Pacific time zone, which is ridiculeces!
Subscription service deserves and is entitled to REAL support, but none is there.
Hello @Lee E. Foster,
Thank you for reaching out! Quicken can be used offline, but there are a few functions that require an internet connection. According to our Subscription FAQ:
Like previous versions of Quicken, the Quicken Subscription product is installed on your local computer system; Quicken is not hosted on the cloud. You'll use the internet to access and download your online banking transactions. You'll also need access to the internet to activate your Quicken product and to receive the latest product updates. After you activate your product, you can enter transactions manually, offline.
Support's hours are in Pacific time, but there's no requirement to run Quicken that time zone.
I hope this helps!
