A frustrating glitch makes it impossible for me to download all my transactions for this year or for last year. I can only get transactions dating from 4/6/2026 no matter how I set the dates for downloads!

What you're seeing is expected behavior in many cases. Most financial institutions limit how far back transactions can be downloaded through Quicken. The available download history is determined by the financial institution—not Quicken—and is typically limited to the last 30–90 days.
If you need older transactions, check whether your financial institution offers the ability to download QFX (Web Connect) files from their website. If they do, you may be able to download transactions from before April and then import the QFX file into Quicken.
