Numerous Downloading Problems

My work with Quicken over the last month or two has been nothing but problems. Its balances and those of the bank are different and discussion with the AI is not helpful. I have three Chase accounts, two savings and one checking. There were so many errors, I deleted the accounts and re-added them — and when I did that, no categories were included in the register. Adding them over a two-year period seems wellnigh impossible.

And with our several Bank of America accounts, transfers have been recorded with errors — like claiming a transfer was made from and into incorrect accounts.

I've experienced other problems as well — but this is a start. What to do? I have Quicken Classic, use Windows, and the problems began about two months ago. My efforts at resolving via Quicken Help have come to naught.

Since you haven't said what the specific problems were, there's little that we can offer as suggestions. And since your immediate prior post was a year ago, there's no history of recent posts that we can work from.

I will say, however, that i hope you took a backup before you deleted those accounts … because Q will remember those deleted transactions and not allow you to download them again into their current accounts.

The more info needed would be a specific account, the bank that you download from, the connection method, when you last downloaded and any error codes or messages that you got.

THIS forum is maintained by other users with few Q employees as moderators. We can't access any exchange you had with Q Support, so you need to tell us anything you've previously told them.

And, please, be concise. No one here wants to read thru a long, laborious list of complaints.
