Revert to old backup sequence

Until recently, Quicken Classic for Mac would only do an automatic backup if a change had been made. If I opened Quicken merely to look up something then closed it, it didn't backup or offer to.

Now the only options are to automatically backup, and to ask before backing up. Either I end up with redundant local backups, or I have to tell it what to do each time. Please restore the original feature, or include an option to backup only if data has been added or changed. Thank you.

I think that change to creating backups on every quit, whether or not any data had been changed, happened a long way back (multiple years ago), but I agree with the request here: if no data was entered or changed and Quicken is quit, the automatic backup-on-quite should not create a backup in that instance.
