Problem with Wells Fargo Visa and loan accounts

Question

I'm using Quicken Classic Premier on a PC (Lenovo Laptop with Windows).

I disconnected my WF Visa two days ago and tried to reinstall it because I suspected a problem. That worked, but now my WF mortgage loan is not recognized, although two accounts show as linked (see screenshot). I've tried "fix it" several times and reinstalled both accounts with no improvement.

Also, strangely enough, when I load Quicken, the Wells Fargo logo is superimposed on the Quicken logo.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm glad to hear that the mortgage account is working again. If you're seeing the Wells Fargo logo along with the Quicken logo during loading, that usually means that you have (or had) Wells Fargo accounts connected using Direct Connect.

Actually, I had done basically the same thing.  The credit card account works fine, and the mortgage loan account seems fine as well, although it really only updates once a month. The freaky thing is that the WF logo still appears over top of the Quicken logo every time that Quicken loads.

Thank you for reaching out and for outlining the troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried.

CC-800 errors are typically resolved by deactivating and reactivating all affected accounts. In this case, I recommend disconnecting and reconnecting all Wells Fargo accounts associated with the same user profile. Before proceeding, please make sure to create a backup of your Quicken file.

First, you'll need to deactivate the affected accounts:

* Select Tools > Account List

* If present, select the Show Hidden Accounts checkbox at the bottom of the Account List
* Select Edit on each account with this error and Deactivate them on the Online Services tab

* When finished, close the Account List.

Second, reactivate the accounts:

* Select Tools > Add Account

* Complete the flow of re-adding the deactivated accounts to Quicken, using your bank login credentials and answering any security questions.
* When you reach the screen listing the accounts discovered at the financial institution, use the Action drop-downs to re-link your accounts:* For accounts you want to re-link, select Link to existing account and choose the corresponding account to re-link with.
* Select Add to Quicken for new accounts you didn't previously track in Quicken.
* For accounts you don't want to link or add, select Don't add to Quicken.
