Is Quicken Mobile & Web required for Retail Purchase Categorizing?

The related Quicken Window's Help page doesn't mention it either way.

Does ‘View your finances on the Quicken Mobile & Web apps’ need to be turn on for Retail Purchase Categorizing to work?

I'm wondering if Retail Purchase Categorizing is getting the Quicken Data File name from Quicken's web servers and that is why it can not be changed in the extensions settings.

Thank you for reaching out with this question! You do not need to use the Quicken Mobile and Web apps for the Retail Purchase Categorization feature to work.

For the feature to work, you will need the following:

You will need the browser extension. Currently, it's available only for Chrome and Edge.
- For instructions on installing the extension, please see our help article.
You will need an Amazon US Consumer account. Business accounts and non-US accounts are not supported at this time.
Once you have it set up, you will need to have the web browser that's logged into your Amazon account open when you run One Step Update in Quicken.
