Is this problem part of the larger issue that has not been resolved. It has been at least two weeks of not connecting with my financial institution. Please advise.

What happens when you try to connect the accounts? Are you trying to connect by navigating to Tools>Add Account? If not, what process are you using? At what point in the process is the connection failing?

This is a bit weird but… Bank of the West does not exist any more and hasn't since 2023. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bank_of_the_West

It does not exist in Quicken's current fidir.txt. The 2023 version also has those 3 entries. Maybe someone can explain what they are.
Based on the Wikipedia info maybe you have to connect with either Bank of Montreal or BMO U.S. or BMO Harris Bank. (BMO stands for Bank of Montreal which bought Bank of the West.)
