It looks like a thread with my exact issue was closed yesterday. I have really old Fidelity accounts that have been closed in Quicken for several years. These do not show up in Fidelity at all. I decided to set up a new account today, and it attached to my original ID and password used for the old accounts. I tried setting up a new account and made it through the authorization and received the email from Fidelity, but Quicken indicates an error that it is unable to log in (even though I logged in fine) and says it times out (even though it is very quick). I looked at my old accounts, and they are all closed and online inactivated. One message said to open the account and deactivate it, but I do not see how to do that. What do I need to do?
I am using Windows via Parallels on a MacBook Computer. The browser is Edge.
