Credit card upload issue with restaurant tips

I make a credit card purchase at a restaurant, total is 60.26. I add a 15.00 tip, which comes to 75.26.
When I go online to my credit cart account, oddly the amount shown for the purchase is 60.26, and I assume that they just didn't add the tip.
Then I go into Quicken, and update the credit card account. I search for the 60.26 and can't find it.
So I search for the Payee, and there it is: 75.26
How can this be?
Is this a Quicken issue, even? If not, why would the statement for my credit card not show the total amount charged?
Has anyone else seen this type of thing?
It makes an occasional manual audit fairly frustrating.

Ok. Never mind. I logged into the credit card site today, and overnight the amount on that line item -changed- and now includes the 15.00.
??? So, either restaurant amended their entry or the CC company fixed it, or something. Either way, it's not a Quicken issue.

What, probably, you initially downloaded was the restaurant's Authorization of the purchase … prior to the tip being recorded.

When you say "online credit card account", is that on the website, or what you downloaded into Q?

IF a download, that would indicate that you've chosen to download Pending transactions … and this is a perfect example of why I don't.
