Quicken constantly revalues Vanguard Federal Money Market Fund (VMXX) from $1.00 to a random value

Question

Quicken Classic PC constantly revalues Vanguard Federal Money Market Fund (VMXX) from it's true value of $1.00 per share to some seemingly arbitrary value from $30 to $40 per share. I can manually correct it, but it happens again the next time I update my portfolio.

But why is it happening, and how can I stop it?

I agree that the ticker for Vanguard Federal Money Market Fund should be VMFXX (not VMXX). I just looked at my price history of it and has not been altered. So this begs the question why this is happening to you? As a comparison reference, this is how my security list shows it and the CUSIP ID's correct value of 922906300 is the important attribute here

Under security details, the "Matched with online security" box should be checked.

@jmccaski can you confirm the ticker symbol? AI search says:

VMXX is the stock ticker symbol for Valhalla Metals Inc., a mineral exploration and development company traded on the TSX Venture Exchange. If you meant Vanguard's popular money market fund, the ticker is typically VMFXX.

That's interesting. Never happened until recently, I've been using Quicken since DOS days :)
