Error downloading from American Express - NO_ACCOUNTS_FOUND (Edited)

Getting an error downloading transactions from American Express on Quicken for Mac, it takes me to the American Express site to reauthorize, which is successful. When I go back to Quicken it says there are no accounts that match. Anyone else experiencing this?

All of my AMEX credit card accounts have begun failing to connect with error 1006 as of this morning. Attempts to reconnect get to the point where I log into AMEX, check the accounts I want to connect, and approve, but then fail saying no accounts could be found.

Same here. Won't let me the clear error either. I get this when trying to reconnect account. This is on Windows 10, so not exclusive to Mac. People also posting on Reddit with same problems.

OSU reported that the account was missing. I followed all the customary procedures including 1) clicking update now 2) adding account with re authorization required on their end 3) deactivated online services, reactivated online services. Everything works on the American Express side saying I'll be returned to Quicken but then Quicken reports the error. Can't connect to American Express. This happened for the first time today. I saw similar reports in the MAC spot.

I received the dreaded "Your account has been deleted" CC-800 message from Amex this morning. I tried to reauthorize as instructed, by clicking on the circle with slash, and that appeared to be working but ended up with another error, CC-503 I think.

I then followed the instructions above, deactivating both of my accounts and using Add Account with American Express - Delegate and after entering two more security codes and re-linking the accounts, it appears that the connection is working again.

Updated quicken mac today. No longer downloading from AmEx. Went through following steps.

Saved backup copy of Quicken Mac
Disconnected AmEx accounts in Quicken Mac
Closed Quicken Mac
Revoked all 3rd party access on AmEx site for these accounts
Removed all devices on AmEx site for these accounts
Closed all browsers
Reopened quicken and tried to reconnect AmEx accounts
Checked boxes on AmEx site for accounts to connect to Quicken Mac
Page came up stating:
Your accounts have been authorized successfully!

You will now be redirected back to Quicken. If you are not redirected in a few seconds, you can close this window and return to Quicken

Closed browser
Quicken Mac popup window with AmEx banner saying: Quicken couldn't find any accounts to add. We were unable to identify any accounts to add. This could be because there aren't any accounts associated with this login or because your accounts aren't supported by Quicken at this time.

I had this error this morning as well, logs submitted.

This morning I did the One Step Update and I received the above error for an account in American Express that had been working through yesterday. It was not deleted or modified in any way. I went through the reauthorization process, and American Express has accepted it, but on the return to Quicken it threw up an error saying it didn't work and do I want to try again or enter my transactions manually?

Same thing has happened to me starting today 8/5/26. Try to setup downloads and it goes through sign in to American Express and initially indicates success before erroring out and restarting download authorization over and over again…

Same. QMac 9.1.1 CP_ACCOUNT_NOT_FOUND for 5 Amex accounts under two logins. Not clicking "Reconnect" as that can screw things up more, based on the last time this happened. It is most likely an issue between Amex and Intuit (the consolidator that Quicken uses) and will work normally later… whether later today or tomorow, dunno.

I too, received the dreaded "Your account has been deleted" message (this morning, 8/5) and tried numerous fixes before coming out to the bulletin board and found this message. Relinking my main card to the "Delegate" account seems to have fixed it but am wondering about any subordinated cards linked to the main Amex account. I'll see in a few days if their transactions download as well.

BTW, I must have missed the communication regarding migrating the linkage to "American Express - Delegate".
