Can't add online account

I am new to Quicken, just downloaded today. I am trying to setup all my accounts (RBC, Capital One, etc.), but when I click 'add account', search the institution name, click next, it just automatically starts me creating an offline account.

I tried going through and just adding an offline account to see what happens. I went into my account list, clicked edit on the account, then online services and 'set up' and it just starts me adding a brand new offline account.

I am using it on Windows, and I believe I should have the Canadian version

Let's double check that you've got Q Canada. If you click HELP, About Quicken … it should tell you what product, and what Version of that product, you're running.

And, assuming that you are running QCan, have you set up the currency for the various accounts as CAD? Quicken can only hold a single currency at any time in a single account … you can however have multiple currencies, just not in the same account.
