For some time now, years, when I download my IRA transactions, the fund symbol attached to the download would be wrong, as in it should be FXAIX but comes in as FUSVX. I used to be in FUSVX but moved to FXAIX many years ago, and the transactions in my Fidelity account show up as FXAIX. But it was a simple fix to click Edit in the downloaded transactions window and change the symbol in the large pop-up box with all the data for that transaction. Now clicking the edit box only has the delete option and nothing else. Another very annoying entry that has been showing up lately is that when an interest payment has been credited to the account, the transaction shows up as the interest amount as the number of shares of FXAIX bought at $1. example 26.3 FXAIX @ $1. What a bargain! And again I cannot edit this. The edit box only shows a delete option.
I'm not sure if this is a Fidelity problem or if it is a Quicken problem, but the now non-functioning edit problem part sure points to Quicken at least. The net of all this is that the download process has become almost unusable.
Anyone having this issue?
