I'm trying to help my mom figure out her quicken file storage. She has been using quicken for at least 20 years and has accumulated hundreds (if not thousands) of quicken files - from copying the file and also from saving backups. She doesn't understand digital file storage very well either. It's been a nightmare for her. She's pretty much a packrat when it comes to her financial information. I'm wondering if others have had similar issues either personally or with others they have helped and ways to overcome this. Teaching her better digital file hygiene isn't going to stick at this point. She needs to understand that she doesn't need to save 5 additional quicken files in one day. There's even tons of files that were last modified years ago, but created this year….as if she opened an old file, didn't change anything, and saved it as a copied file. She insists this is what Quicken is telling her to do. PLEASE SEND HELP
