Quicken auto-inserting downloaded and/or scheduled transactions into the register when disabled

I'm so sick of Quicken auto-inserting downloaded and/or scheduled transactions into the register - when the global preferences that would allow auto-entry into the register have been disabled. This is happening all the time…even historical transactions (some several months old) are getting reinserted into a reconciled register creating duplicate entries! The quality of quicken has really degraded over the last several months! I spent an hour on the phone with Quicken support trying to resolve this with no success (ref Ticket 12541730) Does Quicken have a solution for this?

I'm not seeing such, across multiple account and several files. SO, maybe you can tell us more about what's happening.

Such as:
What Q product are you running and what VERSION of that product? This info is at HELP, About Quicken.

What types of account is this happening in, and with which Financial Institution as it's known in Quicken. Also, what download method are your using with each impacted account? This info is at TOOLS, Account List in the "Transaction Download" and "Financial Institution" columns next to each impacted account.

Lastly, we're other users and don't have access to Q Support tickets. So any exchange you had with Support isn't available to us.
