When Qualified Dividend Check Box is checked it Subtracts it from Dividends & shows as Uncategorized

Question

When the Qualified Dividend Check Box is checked it Subtracts it from Dividends & shows as Uncategorized. Do I need to set up some more Categories? Or change the reports somehow? It's been a long time since I've added any Categories.

I took the first 2 dividends of 3M Co of $312 on March 12, 2026, and $312 on June 12, 2026, (totaling $624) and edited them by checking the Qualified Dividend Check Box. Now on the Investment Income - Year to Date the Income shows as $624 as Uncategorized and the DivInc is lowered by $624. On the Schedule B-Interest and Dividends the $624 doesn't appear anywhere and the Ordinary Dividends/Taxable Dividends/ Schwab One Trust Account And the Taxable Dividend And the Total Ordinary Dividends all show the same figure without the $624 (i.e. all lowered by $624.) If i go look at the 2 transactions again they are not checked.

I got it! I went looking at the Categories, the Reports, and Customizing Reports and somewhere in there I unhid some fields including _QualDivInc. Next I went back to the 3M Co 3/12/26 and 6/12/26 transactions and edited them again to check the Qualified Dividend Check Box. After that I ran a few reports —- Schedule B-Interest and Dividends, Tax Summary, and the Investment Income rpt. They were all correct.  They showed the Qualified Dividends… Thus I checked the Qualified Dividend Check Box in all the others that required it and everything proves. Looks like I'm all set.
