Recent Quicken Update - Changes Preferences

I found out over the last week or so that something changed my Quicken preferences. Specifically:

Data entry and Quickfill
Downloaded transactions

The changed setting affected using Memorized Payees and Renaming Rulels.

When did you first notice that your preferences changed?
- Did this change happen shortly after a program update?
- If not, was there anything that seemed to trigger it?
Was this a one-time occurrence, or do they keep changing without your input?
- If they do keep changing, is there any action that seems to trigger it?

The end of July. Probably after the R61.38 update.

I think/hope it was a one-time occurrence. I've corrected the settings based on a Quicken.docx I keep for all of my settings.

As I have said, the issue was downloaded transactions were not getting renamed or memo'd as was setup in my renaming rules and memorized payees. Also, several renaming rules disappeared.

I corrected the Preference settings, and all appeared normal today.

Given that you also had some renaming rules disappear, the most likely culprit is a file-specific issue. Have you observed any other missing data or unwanted behaviors? If you have, then I recommend restoring a backup from before the update was installed.
