One Step Update - how to remove an inactive account

Windows - release R68.31 I have a couple of old bank accounts that are no longer active, but when I use One Step Update it always tells me I need to reauthorize those accounts to download transactions. Those accounts are no longer active, so why does it keep wanting me to reauthorize? The accounts are closed and hidden, but keep showing up. I just want to remove those accounts from the One Step Update process, how do I do that? I want to keep the accounts for historical purposes, so I don't want to delete them, just remove them from One Step Update.

Thank you for reaching out and telling us about your issue.

To start with, I suggest that you please try validating and/or super validating your data file. However, I do recommend that you first save a backup file prior to performing these steps.

Validate: 

• File

• Validate File
• Click OK
• Close the Data Log
• Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 30 secs)
• Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.

If the issue persists, proceed to Super Validate. If the issue is resolved after performing validation, then please disregard the instructions to Super Validate.

Super Validate:

• File
• Hold CTRL + Shift and click Validate and Repair File...

• Click OK
• Close the Data Log
• Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 30 secs)
• Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.
