Add a right click menu option to update a recurring transaction [Edited]

A number of saved / recurring transactions I've set up have had the amounts billed change over the past few years. I suspect I'm not alone in this.

I would think a right click > update saved transaction would be part of the interface but, no.

I can make the edit in the "Bills and Income" tab, but that is not as easy (though not difficult) as a simple right click menu item. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has thought this.

As with so much software that I use, I'm left with the suspicion that the developers don't use their software.

@Bob_Mc There are multiple ways you can update a recurring/scheduled transaction.

In the account register, you can edit the amount of just the next instance by simply double-clicking on the transaction and editing the amount. This doesn't affect future instances of the scheduled transaction. (You can do this with a right-click if you prefer: right-click the transaction and select Edit Instance from the pop-up menu.)(There is also a keyboard shortcut for this: Command-E)

In the account register, you can edit the amount of all future instances by double-clicking on the transaction and clicking the Edit Schedule option that pops up in the blue bar under the transaction, and entering the new amount. (You can do this with a right-click if you prefer: right-click the transaction and select Edit Schedule from the pop-up menu.)

On the Bills & Income > Bills screen, you can click the ••• icon on the left (next to the "Mark as Paid" button), and select to either Edit This Instance or Edit All Instances.

With those options available, what is it that you would be wanting to see added to make editing a recurring transaction faster or easier? Since there are already right-click ways to edit the next or all instances, I'm not clear what more you are asking for.
