Can I get Quicken 5.0a to go beyond December 2026?

I have been using Quicken release 5.0a since around 1996 for purely personal home accounts and would hate to lose the facility. I run it on an old laptop running Windows XP as it wouldn't instal in Windows 10. I have noticed recently that the calendar won't go beyond December 2026. Is there any way I can change this or overcome this problem?

I can't remember exactly what features the DOS versions had available, but when you say "the calendar won't go beyond December 2026" are you talking about an actual "pull down"calendar where you see a month, like a page of a calendar on a wall, or are you referring to an inability to record a transaction beyond December 2026?

I have no idea how you might change that limitation for either situation in 5.0a, but if you're referring to the "pull down calendar" feature (if that even exists) but you can continue to enter transactions beyond that date, then you might just carry on as you're doing.

The DOS versions of Quicken actually comprised several files, some of which you can access, so maybe someone in here can give you a more nuanced reply than I can.
