This discussion was created from comments split from: CIT Bank not working as of 20260819. Error FDP-101. Cannot Connect.
I'm getting a variety of errors since the 19th or 20th. A deactivate/reactivate does not work. Says it can't find my CIT accounts.

I have. The connection failed window prevents reporting it from there so here is the screen shot.
I have submitted my logs as I am experiencing this problem. Please note I am using Quicken for Windows; I am not on a Mac.
Uploaded. First 2 tries was "unable to connect" this time it was CC-601, an error about not being able to find an account with a non-zero balance.
Keep getting a CC-501 error when trying to sync for the last several days. Other institutions work fine. Anyone else experiencing the same?
@danielwilson9304 please confirm the financial institution - CIT Bank or Citi Bank?
Even with a reset it's still erroring, Quicken trouble ticket submitted

I am getting a different error message this morning CC-602 (I think) telling me you can't find a CIT account (not CitiBank … it's CIT) with a balance greater than zero
CIT (not CitiBank … CIT)
Hi @danielwilson9304,
Did you mean to report the CC-602 error, or were you referring to the CC-601 or CC-502 error?
Please let me know so I can make sure I’m understanding the issue correctly.
It is now saying CC-800 error saying my account has been deleted (it hasn't) and that I should try adding the account again. I did that and I am getting the same error message. I will press "Report a Problem" again so you can see
Thank you for submitting the report. I can see the error on our end.
Typically, you can resolve the CC-800 error by deactivating and then reactivating the affected account(s). Before proceeding, I recommend backing up your Quicken file. Once you’ve done that, please follow the steps below:
Please let me know how it goes.
I am receiving the "cc-502" error when trying to reconnect my account. I did get a message on their CIT Bank app that they were going to be down for maintenance yesterday, but I have been having this issue since Friday, 8/21.
Now it is saying there is a connection problem (CC-502). A different error from the last time. Now I have deleted the account and it is not allowing me to sign back into it. Please figure this out and let me know how to get this fixed.
Here is a screenshot
Feels like CIT messed their interface up last week. Quicken gonna have to poke them with a stick.
CIT Bank account still won't load. Getting the same CC-502 error message. Any updates on when this will be fixed?
I'm having the error. Deactivated account and still can't sign in.
I am having this problem too - trying to reset does nothing.

I'm still getting the CC-502 error. My account does NOT connect still. Been this way for almost a week.
Looks like this was fixed on my end as well. I was able to download my account info for Cit Bank and it appears to be back to normal.
Still not working for me. Last worked 8/20
Cit download for my Mac worked for a bit on August 24 but this morning it is not working again.
It was working yesterday but it is not working this morning. CIT Bank error message CC-502
I'm still having error cc-502 also just now.
I to am having the same issue with CIT Bank N.A. I have submitted today's screenshot and my logs per advice to others. Windows version of Quicken.
David
The error message is different almost every time. Today's error:
I use Quicken for Mac. I've historically updated CIT by logging in to "CIT Bank Online" like everyone else that is failing. I disconnected and reconnected and have been unable to login. Today I tried to login to "CIT Bank N.A. New Login" and was able to login and connect but my account did not update (orange dot).
My question is, has the login choice been updated? Which login choice should I use moving forward? "CIT Bank Online" or "CIT Bank N.A. New Login" ?
PC here, I have tried several times a day since Thursday and have and still am told after the de/re-activating it cannot connect. Prior to foolishly trying the generic de/re-activate I got pretty much every error posted here. This has been about a week now.
I received the error message as well. But even worse, my balance was off by $1500! (Higher) I traced it to a opening acount balance of $1500 instead of $0. Not sure when that happened but this has happened many times over the years over various accounts. Is this something we just have to live with, or can Quicken fix this bug?
This issue is still ongoing, and our team continues to work toward a resolution.

Hi @shtevie,
The issue where the opening balance changed during an account connection migration was improved in the R66.11 release. It should now create new adjustment transactions instead.
The issue where reactivating a deactivated account could add an incorrect balance adjustment was also addressed in the same release, as noted here.
If you’re still experiencing the issue, it may be best to create a new post describing what you’re seeing. This will allow us to focus on your specific case while keeping this thread on topic.
I just updated and everything worked fine. No error and it updated.
Great! I’m glad to hear the issue has been resolved.
I updated yesterday and today. The first time I tried yesterday I got the same error CC502. I tried again later and it updated fine, and I updated again this morning where it worked fine as well. I am cautiously optimistic it's been fixed, at least on my laptop. I hope it's the same for everyone else soon.
I was able to connect tonight and re-activate my account, download the last 19 days.
