I wanted to submit a suggestion that likely benefits the Quicken company itself more than its customers but this seems like the only place to submit suggestions so here goes…
I use the new online backup feature which I love. However, I end up having more backups stored in the cloud than I need/want. I have the software set to take a backup every 5 times I use quicken and I take local backups myself in the interim. I also frequently manually initiate the online backup when I've made a lot of updates and feel like having an updated backup in the cloud.
I'd suggest allowing users to set an option to reset the backup counter whenever a manual online backup is successfully run. Seems to me that would save disk space for Quicken. As it is, if I happen to manually trigger the online backup on my 5th time using the software (since I'm not keeping track of how often I've used the software), Quicken will automatically start another backup when I exit since it's my 5th time using the sofware. So I end up with two back-to-back backups.
No skin off my teeth but I suspect others have the same issue and with the option Quicken wouldn't have save as many backups…
