Why is Quicken constantly correcting price history?

Quicken recently started correcting price history which takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete. I have no idea why this is happening or which investment account or security is causing it. It has happened frequently over the past month and is making Quicken unusable.

How many securities do you have set for updating?

Does it take just as long when you do it from Investing tab → Update?

I have 10, and it takes more time for the dialog to come up and go away than it does for the updating of the security prices.

It does it after one step updates are completed and new securities are being entered in my security list. I have already run file validation recently. I don't recall if had delete price history enabled.

When does Quicken do that? During One Step Update, during a data file Validation, other?

If you haven't done so already, I would suggest running a File Validation with the optional function "Correct investing price history": "Delete" price history enabled.

After Validation, the next One Step Update or Download Historical Prices will rebuild the price history.
