In several of my Fidelity accounts, I have SPAXX selected as the cash sweep, which has been working fine since this feature was added in Quicken Windows this past November. What I would like to be able to do is to calculate the returns of the cash sweep account (e.g., SPAXX) but without having to change the Quicken selection to treat the money market fund as an investment position with corresponding buys and sells. All the dividend payouts for SPAXX are downloading correctly, but since I have selected SPAXX to be the cash sweep (rather than as investment position), the investment returns by security all show N/A for SPAXX.
I understand that the N/A for the IRR calculation for SPAXX is expected behavior when there is no underlying investment position when the money market fund (SPAXX) is treated as the cash sweep in Quicken. But I thought with the recent program updates that Quicken would be able to calculate the investment returns of the cash sweep in the background. But this does not look like it is possible unless the selection is made to treat the money market fund as an investment position rather than cash. Just checking to make sure this is accurate.
Thanks.
