If One Step Update downloads a transaction for a security that Quicken isn't sure it is already tracking, the "Matching Security" window pops up. I have to scroll through my list of securities to see if the downloaded security matches. This is tedious if there are more than a few securities.
The list is sorted by security. I can't check to see if it matches a symbol or CUSIP ID because I can't sort these columns. (I haven't tried using the Search box.)
A simple improvement is to add the option to sort the 3 columns so I can also match by symbol or CUSIP ID.
A much better improvement is for Quicken to automatically search the list for the closest match of the name, symbol or CUSIP ID. Then show that security in the middle of the list with the best matching term (name, symbol, or CUSIP ID) highlighted. It should sort that term's column too.
I could still manually search by selecting the column to sort and scrolling through the list.
