Reinstalling an online Capital One Venture Credit Card. On Windows 11, I am the only user

Classic Deluxe is ready to reinstall, and I have entered my username and password, but it goes no further. It only added "Your accounts have been authorized successfully. I thought that was enough. [Removed-Personal Information]

Thank you for reporting the issue you are running into.

If I understood your post correctly, you have installed Quicken on a computer and are having trouble adding or reconnecting your Capital One account. Is this correct?

I have some follow-up questions for you:

How long have you been experiencing this issue?
Are you reconnecting this account, or adding it as a new account?
Are you doing this in a brand new data file, or one you were previously using?
Are you seeing any error messages during this process?
When you attempt to add this account, are you redirected to the bank's website to enter your credentials and authorize the account for use in Quicken?
- If so, after authorizing the account, are you redirected back to Quicken to finish the process?
Were you able to connect accounts with other financial institutions successfully?

Been online a few times. Having to repeat at every step.
Reconnecting an account
No- I have had this credit card with Capital One Bank for 6 years or more
Have not seen an error message
Yes-directed to Capital One & entered credentials and accepted
Yes-have received this message: "YOUR ACCOUNTS HAVE BEEN AUTHORIZED SUCCESSFULLY!"
This message to me: "You are already sharing…..You can stop sharing data with Quicken at any time by going to your security settings on the Capital One website or mobile app. ( I don't use the mobile app)
I will say that I did delete a Capital One account "360 Performance Savings Account….XXXX." It had a balance of .02 cents. There had been no activity in the account. There was no negative response to deleting.

I will be in and out today. Will check in for comments. Lee Green

After you see the "Your accounts have been authorized successfully" screen, are you redirected back to Quicken? If not, please close the web browser and navigate back to the Quicken program. It should be at an Add/Link screen where you can either add your account as new or link it to an existing account in Quicken.

Are you seeing that screen at all? If you are, what happens after you add or link the account? If you are not seeing that screen, then what is happening after you successfully authorize on Capital One's website?
