Can anyone recommend a software or app that will convert a PDF bank statement to a Quicken downloadable file?
What would be needed is a third-party application, and there are some out there, but the forum rules prevent people posting third-party recommendations. But for Quicken Windows that can accept QIF files, I would recommend searching the Internet for PDF to QIF. Or maybe even PDF to QFX, which is possible would even better since QIF imports don't go through all the normal processing like a QFX does.
Note that if you can get a CSV or Excel file from your financial institution those are easier to convert than PDF files.
Thanks. Now I understand why my community search did not come up with an answer. You would think Quicken would create their own as most banks restrict how far back you can download.
