Under Investing, Portfolio View: One stock is showing a Cost Basis of approximately $50.00. Actual Cost Basis is approximately 5K. This greatly over estimates the Stock's gain. Please advise if there is a fix for this. Thanks
The best way is to review and correct the Bought and/or Added transactions for the security.
A quick and dirty fix is to Remove the current holding and Add the same number of shares with the correct purchase date and cost basis. If you track capital gains in Quicken, this may create issues in the future if you have partial sales.
