Closed an investment account. Quicken "removed" the stocks that had remained in the account- due to placeholder problems. Account now shows with a negative balance. Can't edit it as the account is closed.
How do I zero out the balance?
@BeeHive I think you can still add, delete, or edit any transaction in a closed account. You can use the MiscExp or MiscInc to adjust the cash balance depending on if there is a positive or negative remaining balance. For a remaining share balance, you can use a Add or Remove transaction.
@Sceptic is right a closed account isn't a "locked account", you can still edit it.
