I tried getting it by text yesterday and I tried email today. I didn't get either one.
Quicken Classic Premier vR68.31, Build 27.1.68.31 on Windows 11.
Thanks.
Hello @Michael Rosen,
Thanks for reaching out and telling us about this issue!
I suggest that you try adding the accounts in a new test file and let us know whether the same issue occurs there. This will help us determine whether we are looking at an issue isolated to your current data file or an issue with the financial institution not sending the 2FA code.
Please follow the steps below to create a test file and add the account:
Don't use any of these characters: * ? < > | " : \ / (asterisk, question mark, left and right-angle bracket, pipe, straight quotation marks, colon, BACKSLASH, FORWARD SLASH). Also, don't add the .qdf extension; Quicken does that for you.
After adding accounts, see if you are experiencing the same problem in this test file. From there, you can then switch back to your original file.
Follow the steps below to switch files:
Quicken will list the most recently opened data files, with a checkmark next to the file you are currently viewing.
If the same behavior occurs in the test file, the next step would be to contact the financial institution, as it would indicate the 2FA code is not being provided through the financial institution's connection.
Thank you!
I tried it again today just updating the one account and it worked. I'll see if it fails again during the next full OSU.
Thank you.
Thanks for the update! Glad to hear it worked.
Let us know if anything changes!
