How do I make transaction record date data uniform ?

Hello! I'm running Quicken Classic Premier 2026 on Windows.

In the 'Security detail view' where my transactions are recorded, some of the accounts show the oldest record date first (at the top), while some others start with the latest date recorded. I've tried switching the date arrow to no prevail; it returns to the previously recorded date.

I would like to make this info uniform on all accounts.

I don't see this issue with my data, but here are a couple of things you could try if you have not already:

In the Transaction history section of the Security Detail View, click on the Account header to make sure the view is sorted by account. For me, the list is then sorted by Account with the earliest date for each account at the top of its transactions.

If that does not help, click on the Security Report button at the top right. This will open an Investment Transaction report with just the transactions for that security selected. Next to Subtotal by:, select Account and click on the Date column to sort the result by date.
