Hard to understand what "entities" are

You recently released an update and raved about "entities."

But you didn't clearly state that this feature is only available in a very obscure Quicken version.

Come on, can't your tech writers stick in one sentence at the start of the FAQ that says: "Only available on XXX version."

Plus, your marketing team should be admonished. Most people are not going to spend upwards of $400 without first being given a 7-day, or mebbe a 14-day trial.

If I had a trial period, I'd be more inclined to try this feature, but pay first and find out it's a first-generation product and potentially doesn't meet my needs? Not a chance. As the cliche goes, you catch more flies with honey..."

@al_from_silicon_v I think you are referring to Quicken Family Enterprise. It seems like they are tapping into another market and created a concierge product for the wealthy with complex financial needs. It is not sold in the same channels as their other products. So I think you are right that it is very strange that they included this update for a very specialized product that is not available for or applicable to most Quicken users.

@al_from_silicon_v when you think about it $300 or $400 a year is really not a lot of money. For our household, with very simple financial needs, we pay our finanical advisor around $22,000 a year. I would try the product but it would be overkill because we have simplified our financial situation over the years. I would love it for the ability for my financial advisor, attorney, and certain family members to have access to our financial records, but again the other features for us would be unneeded. If Quicken made a standard product that allowed multiple users with varying access levels. I would gladly look at that.

There isn't a free trial but there is a 30-day refund period.

I suspect that anyone that really needs such a product already has an idea on what this might be used for

And this isn't at "first-generation product", it is an "extended Quicken version" just as Quicken Business is an extended version of Quicken Premier.
