Percentage in Split Transactions Override Dollar Amounts

With this new feature of using percentages to break out a split transaction, the system rejects my dollar amounts if they don't properly round to the percentage. This is a problem. I wanted $8000 of a $13,900 transaction to go to one category and $5900 to go to another category. I'm assuming the rounding of the percentage amount was forcing the split amounts to be off $0.01. $8000 became $8000.01 and the $5900 became $5899.99. This is not acceptable. I want the dollar amount accurate, not the percentages! I could not override this.

Thank you for sharing what you’re experiencing. I wasn’t able to reproduce the behavior on my end, so I’d appreciate a few additional details to help narrow down the cause:

Does this happen with only one transaction, or with any transaction where the amount doesn’t round correctly based on the percentage?
If you uncheck the Show % box, are you able to enter the correct amounts?
Where is your Quicken file located? To check, open Quicken and select File. At the bottom of the menu, the file with the check mark is the one currently open. Please provide the full file path shown there.
Is your Quicken file being backed up or synced by a third-party service such as Carbonite, OneDrive, or Backblaze?

I’ve also included an example below of what I tested on my end for comparison.
