Posts in the Community aren't the same as creating a ticket with Support. A discussion will get closed after roughly 30 days of inactivity, even if the issue is not resolved. It is possible. If it's showing the whole line, the program is likely looking for that.
The issue with being unable to add SWGXX under Customize is a known issue being tracked under ticket QWIN-26694.
