I have not found a solution on your site nor in the community
HELP, software is useless at this point
Currently there is no way to turn it off or disable it. But see this Product Idea that is now planned for implementation. However we do not know when or how it will be implemented.:
I do know this currently is a nuisance (moreso for some than for others) but I do not understand how it makes the software useless as that is not my experience. Please clarify why you feel you cannot use the software anymore.
can not manually enter or correct the category. Is there a work around?
There are many comments in the community, but none seemed to work for me.
I know of no workarounds but yours is the first I've heard that you cannot manually enter nor correct the category at all.
Have you tried playing around with your computer's screen resolution settings? I know if the resolution settings are set correctly it can make Quicken difficult to view and work with. See this caution by Quicken:
Also, in Edit > Preferences > Row Height there are 3 options. Maybe try out each one to see if that helps.
And in View, if you have Large Fonts selected try unselecting that.
