Financial Institution Outage: KS StateBank migrated to YOUBanking platform (Connection Broken)

KS StateBank recently migrated their entire online banking core infrastructure to a new portal called YOUBanking. The current Quicken financial institution directory script is pointing to the old, obsolete server path. Express Web Connect / Add Account completely fails to authenticate. Please escalate this to the backend aggregator team to update the routing scripts for KS StateBank.

Did the bank, before the update, send you information about the process required to re-establish your download connection in Quicken?

At the same time, did the bank contact Intuit Inc. as the service provider and coordinate the required changes and testing with them?
It is up to the bank to initiate this process well ahead of time. Neither Quicken nor Intuit Inc. can make changes without proper authorization by the bank.

If you want to help get the ball rolling, contact the bank and complain. You may also want to contact Quicken Support on the phone during posted hours of operation and report this as an Online Banking issue.

@SLB-1982 it looks like KS StateBank supports Direct Connect (DC) as a connection method. It also looks like they support downloading transactions from your online account (Web Connect). Have you tried those alternatives to see if they work?

Hi UKR, thank you for the message. The bank did not send information about re-establishing download connection. I do not know if the bank contacted Intuit. I can ask them. I did contact Quicken support during phone hours and they were no help.

Thank you Sceptic for the message. Yes, that is the problem, I have been able to use Web Connect in the past with this bank, up until they changed over to this new online banking platform. The connection broke. When I try to re-setup the connection, the setup fails during the process of trying to connect to the bank and goes to an offline account setup.

@SLB-1982 ok, I think I understand what's happening. When you reactivate Web Connect for online connection. To reconnect, you must sign on to your online account with KS StateBank and download transactions from there. When you do that for the first time, a pop-up box in Quicken will ask you to either set up a new account or connect with an existing account in Quicken. Choose the latter and link to your existing KS StateBank account in Quicken. You only need to do this once to establish a link. After that, you will be able to download transactions using Web Connect as usual.
