Importing CSV marks all entries as a credit

I am importing a .CSV file into Quicken on my Mac. I have meticulously reordered my columns, etc., to meet the requirements. The import works well, except that all my amount entries are credits. Credits import as credits, and debits import as credits. I have read and re-read the instructions for importing .CSV on Mac. Any ideas about what I am missing?

If I'm not mistaken Quicken Mac's CSV import functionality/format was done to try to capture the Mint users when Intuit killed off Mint.

Mint's format for debit/credits is to use a separate field to show what the sign of the transaction amount should be, not using a positive or negative transaction amount.

This is an example of some Mint data. You will notice that the Amount is positive even though the Transaction Type is "debit". It is the keywords debit and credit that tell whether it is a positive or negative amount. It isn't the friendliest of formats.
