Excel Exporting - Honor any filters in place [Edited]

Make the 'Export to Excel' honor any filters in place. And I mean from the Actions menu on the main screen, not from a report. It honors the account I'm viewing but it always selects all dates even if I have a custom date range in play.

That shouldn't be too hard to do.

Apologies in advance - “the Actions menu on the main screen”. What does that mean? Quicken is so easy to customize, main screen can mean almost anything. A snipped picture could be worth a thousand words. I am more familiar with moving reports to excel which you are excluding here.

When you launch Quicken from the desktop it opens the 'main screen'. On the right-hand side there is a gear icon. Hovering the mouse over it displays 'Actions- Ctrl-Shift-N'. Halfway down the resulting menu is 'Export to Excel'.

I don't know how much clearer I could be.

OK so you are talking about the menu on the register: (EDIT: Most people consider the "main screen" to be the Home tab)
