Voucher Check Memo line too low

Question

I use Quicken Classic Deluxe for Windows R68.31 latest update.

There is no problem aligning or printing voucher checks but the memo line is always too low so I have been relegated to printing the memo line by hand. One person said that it is a problem with the check template file, but offered no other information so that was as useful as a screen door on a submarine.

Has anyone else had this issue and found a way to resolve it? I sure would appreciate some feedback on this. I have been using Quicken since the 80's so am not new to it, it is just that pesky memo line that has me baffled

Which sounds to me like, even though the vendor claims that they're "Quicken Compatible", they really aren't.

And, there's no way within Q to adjust the layout.

One batch from DeLuxe and the other from Checkomatic, both are Quicken compatible. Everything else on the check is aligned perfectly except the Memo line, it is down too far.

Who/where did you get your checks from?  What vendors?

And were they described as being "Quicken Compatible"?  Because not all PC-printable checks are Q-Compatible.
