I am on Windows W11, QUICKEN R69.26. Whenever I upload through One Step Update, the issue does not go away, Quicken does not appear to recognize matching transactions. Not all, only from September.
Hello @jimarcher6837,
Thank you for reaching out! The screenshot you provided shows "Match." Could you please share more details about what isn't matching? You mentioned that it's persistent. Are they already matched, but it's acting like you still need to accept them?
I look forward to your response!
They are the same transactions every time. They are the same 16 transactions. The later transactions are not listed, after acceptance. These transactions are between 8/31 and 9/14. They are matched and accepted, repeatedly.
These are the bank and credit card transactions. The brokerage / investing accounts are not repeating.
Hi @jimarcher6837,
Thank you for the clarification. That helps in understanding the issue you are reporting. I'd appreciate it if you could answer the following questions to narrow this down:
I look forward to hearing from you.
I have not changed connection methods.
Bank of America, Discover
Many times
It matches correctly, and not a duplicate in the register. A New entry is recognized.
@jimarcher6837 If you haven't seen this already, this Quicken Support article might provide some additional information and troubleshooting steps:

I did both types of entries, manual entry and downloaded entry. Apparently Quicken "frowns" on this type of the entry process:
"Solution: Don't mix your methods for getting transactions from your bank. If you want to download from the website, try to stay with that method. If you decide later that you want Quicken to update automatically rather than manually downloading yourself (or vice versa), be aware that you may encounter duplicate transactions on that first download after the change. You will need to manually delete the duplicate transactions."
[Removed - Duplicated]
This is occurring again:
How do I clear this error?
I’m sorry to hear that the issue is still persisting. Since the troubleshooting steps in the article @Sceptic shared previously didn’t resolve the issue, the best next step would be to contact Quicken Support for further assistance.
The support team can walk you through additional troubleshooting steps in real time and escalate the issue if necessary. You can also share this Community thread with them so they have additional context about what you’re experiencing and the steps you’ve already tried.
You can find the Quicken Support phone number here: Support Home | Quicken. Phone support is available Monday through Friday, from 5:00 AM PT to 5:00 PM PT.
I'm sorry I couldn't provide a more direct solution, but please don’t hesitate to reach out again if you have any other questions.
@jimarcher6837 are these the same transactions that keep downloading over and over again? If so, try doing a data file validate, if you haven't already -
Make a backup of your data file first, then
After these steps are done, you will need to see if these recurring transactions show up with the next One Step Update. Please let us know what you find.
@Quicken Laura our posts seemed to have crossed. I agree the next step would be to contact Quicken Support. But maybe a data file validate is worth a try if it hasn't been done yet.
I tried Validate and Repair File and Super Validate and Repair File. Both worked and flagged duplicate registers. The situation is that Quicken still downloads register entries, but they are not duplicated. The situation is workable, but I will call Quicken Support on Monday.
