My Quicken Classic Starter subscription expired on September 11, 2026. I am using Quicken for Windows R69.26.
After my subscription expired, I was unable to save a new transaction. I followed Quicken’s instructions to reinstall the version released before my subscription expired: I downloaded Quicken again, downloaded the R69.26 patch, disconnected from the internet, reinstalled Quicken, and installed the R69.26 patch.
However, I still cannot save a new transaction. When I click Save, I get:
“Your subscription has expired. Please renew to perform the requested action.”
After clicking OK, the transaction is not saved.
Quicken’s documentation says Starter users should still be able to create and save new transactions after expiration.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, were you able to find a solution?
Thank you.
