I have been having the "Fidelity problem" for over a week now. I have one CC account and 7 investment accounts. Every time I try OSU, Quicken responds with "have closed the account" / "have you changed the nickname" queries, to which the answer is "no" to all. I have tried Resetting the accounts, Deactiviating the accounts and reactivating and each time the Fidelity web site sends through this "Authorization" process, at the end of which, the Fidelity window states that all acounts have been authorized. However, there are no downloads and any attempt to OSU just the Fidelity accounts again starts the whole annoying process all over again. I get pop-up boxes (Quicken?) that accounts can't be found on Fidelity because they must have been deleted (not), yet when I go through the reauthorization process, all accounts appear and Quicken shows "already in Quicken".
I get CC-501 errors on some attempts and CC-506 errors on others.
I have seen comments here that the problem is resolved, then that we (Quicken) are aware of it and have escalated it to higher levels (Quicken Levitia), then instructions from other Quicken mods to decativate/reactivate, use the Fix It process, and so on. None of that solves the problem in my case, nor does there appear to be a consistent stance from Quicken mods.
This all seems to have started after the latest Quicken update; coincidental?
What is Quicken's position on this situation (not a mod's opinion, but fact)? this it a Fidelity problem or a Quicken problem?
