I've got two issues going on right now. The first one is the Amazon retail purchase categorization extension that I have in Chrome. When I download the transactions using the one-step process, it fills them in, but in the memo, instead of listing what the product was, it just says some standard gibberish about where it was downloaded from, for example: "Amazon Mktpl*&*(&^%$#% Seattle Wa". I talked to support today, and they made it sound like we're still having a lot of issues, and hopefully it'll be fixed in future upgrades. He said you may have to occasionally go in there and manually change it. Right now, I have to go in there and manually change it every time. That is what I was doing before the retail extension came out. I guess this is just the way it is, and it's kind of worthless at this time?
Issue two seems to be the US Bank takeover of the Amazon credit card handling from Citibank that I use to purchase Amazon items. Instead of setting up one account with the credit card, as all my other credit cards do, they set it up as a business account with a central account and another account for each card. We only have one card, but that still creates two accounts. All transactions are posted in both accounts. When you run a report, all the transactions from both accounts are included in the report, even though they are all duplicates from one into the other. The only thing I could think of to not have them show up in the reports would be to go in there and delete all the transactions from the one credit card account and just use the other one. Am I the only one having issues with this, or is anyone else having to deal with this problem? If there are others, what have you used as a workaround to prevent having two sets of Amazon transactions show up in reports?
