Persistent Reconciliation Errors from Random Deleted Transactions

As a Mac Quicken user since 1993, I have entered over 34k transactions for home finances. The product has been pretty dependable for decades … until recently. When mobile Quicken became available, I was excited to try it until I noticed errors with PAST successful reconciliations — random transactions were deleted. With some users reporting similar errors involving the mobile app, I stopped using it.

Since then, I have continually had random transactions from years ago become deleted, messing up many reconciliations and account balances. It is becoming so numerous and frequent that I am actually considering abandoning my 33 years of Quicken data for a new product. It's a shame that such a good app is now so bug-ridden.

It would be hard to believe that I am alone with this issue. Anyone out there with this issue?

I’ve not had that problem.

When you stopped using the mobile app did you turn off sync? If not you should do that and see if it makes a difference.

Yes, I turned off sync long ago. I run an older 2019 MacBook w/Sequioia 15.7.9 that may contribute. Kinda suspicious that deletions may happen during Quicken version updates. Will be taking a snapshot and backing up data before doing that next time!
