@Quevin if you're receiving a CC-501 error but can log into the Space Coast Credit Union website without issue, that generally indicates the problem is with the connection between Quicken and the financial institution rather than with your credentials. Quicken's documentation states that CC-501 occurs when Quicken is unable to connect to the financial institution for transaction information and is often due to an issue on the institution's side or with the connectivity service.

As for whether this has happened before, yes, there have been prior reports from Space Coast Credit Union users experiencing recurring CC-501 errors, including at least one issue that Quicken escalated internally. You can clearly see the numerous posts in this community forum.

Unfortunately, if the issue is intermittent, there may not be anything you can do locally to permanently resolve it. If the error persists for more than 24 hours, I'd recommend contacting Quicken Support so they can review the logs and determine whether this is part of a known connectivity issue.

I feel your pain.

I was so tried of how often the SCCU - Quicken integration would break. And it became clear to me that SCCU didn't have the expertise to permanently fix the issues. I no longer wanted to waste my time reporting problems and fussing with it/them.

I reached a point where I moved my accounts to another bank with reliable Quicken integration. When asked why I was closing all my accounts, I told them their Quicken integration kept breaking and that was a deal breaker.

I reported same problem and CC-501 Error to Quicken this weekend after not being able to connect or download transactions, yet again. Validation and a try to reset account in register also failed to correct. I agree that a reliable fix would be a mighty fine thing.
