how do I know when an update moves from "staged release" to "available to all"?

Question

The last notice of "available for all" was update R69.25. Since then, there has been R69.26. R69.29 and R69.53. I prefer not to update until the bugs have been worked out. I don't want to have the hassle of problem solving a bug. I would appreciate if there would be consistent notices of "available to all."  I have been through to many "clean ups" following an update.

In general, the main way would be to monitor the official notification thread, even though it might lag behind at times.

But in general, stage releases are only available for a very short period of time for automatic download.  So, if you ignore a given release for a day or so, then if it is suggested again that would be a "available to all" release.
